WHO ARE WE?
CARRY ME MAMA FOUNDATION is a Christian Non-Profit Organization registered and Headquartered in Lira City with operations in different districts within Northern Uganda with its focus on improving the well-being of all the disadvantaged street children, orphans, People with Disabilities (PWDs), Children living with HIV/AIDS.
FOUNDER AND CO FOUNDER
The foundation was initiated and founded back in May 15th 2015 by Mercy Bryan Ngozi and Geoff Bryan who were once victims of street children and orphans. with the objectives to contribute in tackling all forms of accessing quality Health services, quality education, advocate for their rights, malnutrition, hunger and extreme poverty especially for children in northern Uganda.
HOW DO WE SELECT CHILDREN?
All the children eligible to this project are the children selected using all the tools and criteria set by the foundation after considering existing finance and other methods that are applicable to the child and community development. Children from poor families:
- Orphans,
- Children vulnerable to failed marriages,
- Children from People living with HIV/AIDS,
- Children who are HIV/AIDS,
- Children with disability or from disabled parents,
- Street children.
So, the idea of Carry Me Mama foundation finds its root in the first-hand life experience of the past.
